I came onto this site because my ex wanted me to get over my issues with my body. I will admit it has been an adventure and I've gone down a huge road of self-exploration. The problem with getting over my hang ups with my body is that the attention I use to think I. enjoyed, I've realized I don't. I do enjoy being here on this site but lately it's harder and harder to be on here with the way people talk to me. I guess getting some self respect makes me feel I deserve respect and that can be lacking on a site like this.

There are so many things in this fallen and broken world that can't be fixed by good intentions and empty platitudes. A life worth living is a life with risk, honesty, and above all else ACTION. I just love how I can say that and still do nothing. In the end doesn't that make me a part of the problem as a whole? Inaction is the cause of the world's demise today and even knowing that deep in the core of who I am I still do nothing. Wouldn't it be so much better if each and everyone of us actually took a stand against all the deception and brought about the change we want to see? Or is it really just a better idea to sit down, shut up, and check out of this world by staring at my phone?
