I drove a couple girls home from a show- they were fans of the band I managed, and since the show was in a college town, I figured I’d be able to get them in without id’s, just saying that they were helping us set up and break down. Without ID we would have to sneak them drinks, but we promised that they were 18, and they were reluctantly allowed in. There’s definitely some validity to those who point out insecurity: I’ve always, at least since I first started having sexual thoughts about girls, about sixth-seventh grade, felt more proud, happy, secure, whatever, when I’ve been around girls ( not being condescending or misogynistic: in sixth or seventh grade, I, along with the girls who were my friends as well as the subjects of my sexual fantasies/attraction were about 11–12 years old.
