How I post pictures on my profile

Someone had to teach me how to do this and it's been amazing. I'll always be grateful to SassyBri for her help. Maybe I can help you too. When it comes to computers I'm a fucking moron. This should be the simpleton's guide for posting pictures on your page.

For any pic you want to post you need to have it saved on your computer.

The next step is to host the image. Everyone is different. Sassybri told me to use tinypic.com. It is free image hosting. I've used it for years. There are other options. You sign up for the feature by creating a username and password. I don't know how long the images you use are hosted and available in your account. I just know it's free, easy and it works.

The site is really simple once you're logged in. It shows a little box with an option to browse. You hit browse and find the image from your computer and hit enter. It doesn't get any easier than that. Make sure you have the option for 'image' checked. I've never tried hosting a video. Once the image uploads you will see about four options. You need the one that says 'IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards.' I will show you what it looks like with some information blank so you can't access my tinypic account. I'm a perv and I'll probably have nude stuff posted there at some point. The code you need looks like this:

Now the next step is what some people don't know. You click on edit my profile. You go to your 'about me' description where hopefully you wrote something more than 'I'm cool. I've got a big dick. Nothing else you need to know.' Whatever you did or did not write doesn't matter. I scrolled to the end of my writing. I hit enter for a new line. Then I copy and pasted the code from tiny pic. You cad add pics at the beginning of your writing. You can go half-way through your writing.and hit enter for a new line. You copy the IMG code and paste that line anywhere you want a picture to be. The next step is what confuses the hell out of me.

If you just type that code, an image will not appear on your page. Maybe this is only some freaky problem I have. I'm stubborn and I figured out how to make that IMG code produce a picture. The code looks like this: To make images appear on my page, I have to change [IMG] to . I don't know why you have to do that or if [IMG] works for other people. I have to change IMG to image.

You should be good to go. Save the profile changes you made adding a code. You should be able to click on your new profile and see your image. I've had images that were normal sizes show up hosted small. I never figured out why. I can't help you if the picture you want to post comes up small. I wish I knew why some of my art won't post the right size. At the very least I gave you the basics on how I still post pics. Someone may leave a comment with a totally different way to post images. Their way may be easier than my way. I'm opening up the topic for discussion.

Sometimes web like tinypic "resizes" your uploads pictures depending on options you choose... and sometimes webs like xh resizes the same picture to "fit" in our profile (measurements, kb, etc)...
Thanks anyway for this tutorial
