Some content does deserve a thumb down. As a cum tribute fan if i see a pic of a gorgeous woman and the cum she gets is like a tiny droplet in the corner of the pic, I thumb down. I watched the whole video in anticipation and was disappointed. That being said i am no fan of cum tributes longer than 2 minutes and videos with bad quality or an overly verbal tributer, but these I can just stop watching immediately and no need to dislike button.

Shame we dont know the percentage who thumb down that dont have any personal content

Pinterest canned their "like" button. Humans won't move their mouse hand slightly to the side and up, and tap once on a button to acknowledge someone else's efforts. Yet they WILL stop browsing and type out some trolly sneer. And that's on a vanilla site.
On a porn site - particularly the greatest of them all - Xhamster - why the HELL are they here if their hands are not elsewhere on - or in - their laps'doing Un-PC things?

If I see a thumbs down vote, I always give a thumbs up vote to cancel the idiots vote. Sometimes I'll give a thumbs up to an entire gallery that I don't like just because someone else gave it some thumbs down votes.
