Slut vs Whore

It seems that the terms whore and slut are used interchangeably on a regular basis but to me there is one basic fundamental difference; a whore charges money, very much like a prostitute but a Slut does not charge money nor is there some tradeoff. He or she simply does what they do out of pure lust. This is my interpretation but given what I see regularly, I am wondering if I am alone in this perspective?

I should be crystal clear. One of the most beloved people in my life is a self-proclaimed Slut, and I do not disagree, so I'm definitely not anti Slut. I'm just curious about peoples' interpretations of these terms.

For me, being called a whore, a slut or whatever is a way for Males to assert their superiority during a sexual act.😉😉

to xxxeccentric : I agree, both can be done at the same time. But by saying so, you're also saying they are two separate terms which do differ in definition. I would suggest that someone who loves sex yet is being paid for it would be a slutty whore - which proves your point that both can be done simultaneously... But there are still two separate definitions. That's my perspective anyway.

to letyplay : That's my perspective as well. But I've had a woman say to me "I love being a nasty lil whore". Do I think she meant that she loves getting paid to have sex? Well no and that's what I mean about the terms being used interchangeably... But I agree with your assessment. Thanks for replying!

There is no reason why both cannot be done at the same time. My wife had over 238 guys in a little black book...while swinging. She loved sex. Then when outcall, stripping, parties, live stage fucks, and more opened up with money being paid, she retired the little black book. She was only part time, unlike some girls she knew. Still she knows that she went way over a thousand. Many of those became repeats, and each fucked her a lot. Some fucked her MUCH more than her husband ever could. She still enjoyed sex, and "could not believe someone was paying her for something that she liked as much or more than the guy." So, it does not necessitate an either or definition.

I never gave it much thought before, but I totally agree. More so because I consider myself a slut.
