I wanted to let you know that at this point I am leaving 'A Tale of Two Moms' incomplete, because the amazing woman who provided the inspiration for part of that story suddenly and tragically passed away while I was writing it, so out of love and respect for her, I decided to leave the story much like her life... sadly incomplete. I don't usually share that with people, but since you've been such a loyal reader, I thought I would. All the best, D

Part V of 'A Mother's Helping Hands' is posted. I don't know why the mods wouldn't clear it, but I finally did it as a blog post. Considering they posted the first four parts, and from some of the other stories I've seen, I can't figure out what held mine up, but I didn't want to make my readers wait any longer. Part IV of 'A Mother's Helping Hands' is up. Sorry it took so long but the loss of my two family members had me down for a while. I hope you like it. I did want to let you know that since I had to mix all the real elements in, there will be a Part V, but since parts of it are based on reality, I am talking with a producer who wants me to adapt it into a video series. I have been in a complete funk since my personal loss, and my zest for writing has been crushed... until what happened today at Charlie Hebdo Magazine in France. Knowing these cowardly bastards killed people for how they expressed themselves has really shaken me. My profile will explain, but I am back to writing again in their honor. Je Suis Charlie
