Experimenting with more dramatic light so only 1 light. This is a warm up for the Akane figure coming in December. It's hard to do in a small space and without someone to hold reflectors, etc. so it's never going to be perfect. also the floor lamps are a little too tall. Now that summer is over early morning window light in a different room might work. But then I'd have to way tone down the noise or overdub. Japanese paper lamps might be an option because of the diffusion.

Usually use a floor lamp with 5 bulbs pretty much straight on so I don't make any shadows. Sometimes a desk lamp is used opposite me as a fill. I used a diffuser for the first Bertille scene with a second 5 bulb floor lamp pointing at a silver reflector to try and get rid of the bulb reflections which are really visible once the figure is wet but it didn't seem to make much of a difference. The main problem is color correction because the lights are the same temperature as the old tungsten bulbs although the iPhone does a decent enough job. Only the second breast shot in the a Bertille video is color corrected in premier. None of the other ones are color corrected.
