to drgoodhead : Well... I didn't know about these industry issues. However, since I upload mostly pictures here, the current situation makes my work here almost impossible. For this reason I'm seeking extra options (I guess you have read it, but if not, I made a post about this)

I lost over 1200 Favorites in the great purge, so I understand how you feel. User "jana-chen" has a link to a NY times article that explains what is happening in the industry. A couple of days ago the CNN website explained that there is a strong "anti-porn" law hidden in the stimulus bill passed by Congress. The Feds are really cracking down on (mainly) "under 18" and also on "copyright violations". Hamster got caught by surprise because they have not done a good job policing this site. But I am not willing to assign them 100% of the blame. I do think they owe us a detailed explanation of all that is happening so we can decide where to go from here. There is still a lot of good material left to enjoy, so I'm not going to go away. I am very frustrated and disappointed, but think I will be patient for a while and see how it all shakes out. I hope you will change your mind and stay. You have obviously put a great deal of time and effort into your gallery collections, and I think it would be a tragedy to lose all of it.
