Soo, I officially have been in my new place for about four months, had net for a week. That's how things work and all. Have my girls out more, though when family or friends come to visit, they move to secure locations to be safe. Kjersti, who I mislabeled lately as Kirstin (sorry love) sits next to my Xbox and when visitors come, she had one of the cubes in the entertainment center the TV sits on as her home. If you are looking to add girls from disney to your collection, i suggest skipping your usual shops and find the nearest Disney Store. The dolls there have much better articulation for posing and there are Disney Store only dolls as well. Prices are competitive and the often have specials.… Read more

House still not sold, in a state of being half packed half unpacked. Due to some issues, my brother is preparing to sell his home and he and I will be looking for a new apartment in the next few months. This is actually a good thing as it will be easier for us to maintain and will be closer to the city proper rather than on the outskirts. It will mean the usual packing and sorting things out as well as possibly looking for new work or just shifting to a new store. Don't know. What I do know is that this will change a few things. As you may have noticed, the black table I use, a laptop table, for the photos of the normal sized dolls does not work for the extra tall dolls. This is a question for you all. Have you ever taken one or more of your Dolls with you on a trip? I am thinking about taking one or two of my larger Monster High Girls with me when I take my next trip, later this year, but I'm not sure if it would be a good idea for a few reasons. Leaving them in the hotel room for one, unless I can secure my bag when I'm gone. Have any of you successfully taken your girls with you on a trip and was it worth it?… Read more

I took a chance today and swung by one of the various Toys R Us in the city, the only one close to my house, to see what they had in the Extra Tall Monster High girls. When I got there, there was only one group of boxes and I figured I wouldn't find her, till I checked the fourth box back and found the only Elizabat they had! Picked her up, got her home before anyone was up and snapped the photos in the new gallery. Well, I have my initial test images of my 17 inch Draculaura up, sorry for the quality, still learning this new camera and need better lighting, shooting at night after work with only the ceiling light on. I may switch to working with a black background or a taking aerial shots on a black table or stand. I have to take photos when no one is home or if they are busy downstairs, sucks not having my own place, but that's the breaks when you have to work an hourly job just to get by. While I plan on adding 14 inch beauties to my collection, I'm still adding standard sized girls as well. As I said in my last post, I will be investing in a camera soon, as my cell phone sucks soo much. The upgrade will allow me to take better images and to make better sets. I am looking for in the 14 inch range is Draculaura, Elizabat and Clawdeen.
