    I prefer a happy medium, at least for myself. I keep my balls shaved, I think they look and feel better that way. I'm not a hairy guy, so I can shave completely and look (reasonably) good. But I prefer a little hair, so I keep a nice trimmed patch of pubes above everything. I completely shave just to be different once a year or so, and keep it smooth for about a month then let the fur grow back - to a short level.
