Well, I just spent a good part of my weekend as a CD. Not just hanging out in my hotel room waiting for a stud or two, but going out in public. I think the thing to remember is 95% of people who see you couldn't give a fuck, 1% are disgusted but keep quiet, 1% are disgusted and might be dangerous, 3% really fucking want you. that's true. i have yet to venture into shops. i have walked out of my hotel to my car, which was the biggest step i could ever take, then drove to a small shopping centre, and a beach, which was an amazing experience. i was about to go into a sex shop towards the end, but got a bit spooked. My most recent outing was a walk around the streets passing many people, albeit at night, and had a group of guys in a car eyeing me off. you never know how guys are going to react to a cd - some can be potentially very angry at being deceived. i think daytime is probably safer, also being in a trans friendly neighbourhood, or with a gurlfriend is probably safer. my biggest give away i feel is my voice - it is the thing that makes me hold back from going into shops - how do you cope with that?
