EB - November's last playlist
Hello there ladies and gentlemen!
I'm back with a second playlist for the month of November. Why, you ask? For no real reason really. But since I was late this month for my list, I've decided to make another one.
There will be a theme though, these 10 songs here will represent a little collection of my favorite bands/singers of all time (in no particular order whatsoever). Of course 10 is a very limited number, that's why it's a small representation.
What are you waiting for? Christmas?
Let's get on with it!
01- Rush – The Enemy Within
So it's clear now. I've already posted a fuck ton of links to Rush videos now. I simply love their style, their sound, their lyrics, every single little thing about them. They're just the greatest band ever in my eyes, all three musicians are way too talented to exist. BUTÂ ! It's not my favorite band ever though, just the best one.

02- Judas Priest – Turbo Lover
The Turbo album is kitsch as Hell. Like...really really kitsch, it's the 80s all over. But man, it's fuckin' great. Like...really really great. You have to like 80s Heavy Metal but if you do, it's awesome. Quite frankly I think it's my favorite JP album.
This Live version here is excellent, the mix, Rob's voice, the guitar work from Glenn...yeah excellent !

03- Gary Numan – She's Got Claws
By now you've probably guessed it. I'm in love with the 80s, both in music and movies. I don't know why or what, but I love it !
Gary is the pure 80s synth sound. He's like some sort of robot thingy from outerspace, like a robotic version of Ziggy Stardust. He surely was inspired by the Berlin era of David Bowie and by Brian Eno who worked with Bowie in that particular era.

04- The sisters Of Mercy – Dominion / Mother Russia
What was I sayin' again ? Ah yes, the 80s !
So yeah, just like Rush you probably already guessed that I'm a big fan of this band here eh ?
This version include the full song, unlike the original cut of the music video that left the whole Russia part.

05- Tom Waits – 16 Shells From A Thirty-Ought Six
I talked very shortly about him on my previous list. This time it's not the cover version, it's the original Tom Waits in all his glory. Man this guy is talented as Hell !

06- Creedence Clearwater Revival – Bad Moon Rising
Here you want something special ? There are a few bands here and there that really remind me of growing up. CCR is one of them, yes I had some different taste in music...yeah I still do okay. But yeah I grew up listening to a ton of music, mostly Rock though.

07- Ghost – He Is
And during the Swedish Grammy Awards Ceremony, they have some good music.
Now let's all shut up and listen to this majestic song !

08- Blue Öyster Cult – Astronomy
Let's listen to another band with the same style of music as the previous one. Yeah I definitely compare BOC to Ghost. And it's a very very very good thing!

09- Electric Light Orchestra – Diary Of Horace Whimp
Did you know the band released a new album last year ? And it's fuckin' good ? Well this isn't from the newest one.
If you love the Beatles, then you absolutely NEED to listen to this band. Jeff Lynne is a big Beatles fan but was also a close friend of George Harrison. They worked together multiple times.

10- David Byrne & St. Vincent – Who
And here's the last song for today.
What happens when two of my favorite artists work together ? This masterpiece !
