Alone

Alone is my nature
It has always been so
I'm happy in my solitude
So everyone can just go

Alone is a shield
Which I always carry
Never to have a partner
Never to marry

Alone can be trying
Of that I am sure
I do not seek help
I know the easy cure

Alone can be fixed
Just by walking out my door
Go talk with a friend
Just go to the store

Alone is my choice
Because of its ease
It takes no effort
Only myself to please

Alone in the day
Alone in the night
Alone is what I choose
Alone is my right

At the end of the day
With all that I own
I would give it all away
To stop being alone

My thoughts exactly,I have been alone all my life.I enjoy the solitude.As halinaplays said I would make a difficult partner with my long bouts of nothing to say or feel.I have had several relationships where they left because they felt me indiffernt to them.When is just me being me.

You captured my feelings about being alone precisely. It is easier. I know how much I crave solitude. I know I would be a difficult partner. When I feel too lonely, I do exactly what you suggest. I walk out of the door and go to a store. One of the reasons I haven't been online as much is due to the fact I beat my fear of having an episode when I drive. The sales that I put on every other week mean that I have to go in a thrift store every day. I travel all over the tri-county area. Sometimes all I need is a long drive and a good song on the radio. That makes being alone feel incredible. As usual your rhythm was wonderful. I'm so sorry it took me so long to give you feedback. big big kiss xxx lynn
