To Reviewers, Censors, Autobots, Whomever

So I uploaded a Femdom vid. Not my usual cup-of-porn but it was fairly mild (by Femdom standards) so I uploaded it for the sake of the partisans of that sort of thing.

I added a clever description too - Femdom Bitch forced [f-o-r-c-e-d] me to upload this shit I hate!

Well, the Reviewers edited my description to read: Femdom Bitch MADE me to upload this shit I hate!

"MADE ME TO UPLOAD?!?"

WTF?!?

Okay, having included a word in the description that is routinely censored around here, yes, do your job and edit my description. But as you do so, don't just replace the censored word with another without checking to see if it remains grammatically correct.

Your ungrammatical edit makes it appear as if I'm more fucking retarded than I already am.

Is there a list of censored words somewhere I can consult so that in the future my carefully crafted descriptions won't get butchered?

One of my blogs said, "I fell asleep while..." and it was changed to, "I fell asl**p while...".
Why the asterisks? I don't get it.

One of my video descriptions said, "I have a shit-ton of this stuff". It was changed to, "I have a GREAT-ton of this stuff".
And yes, they did it in all caps.

LOL! I have a vid waiting to become active. Just noticed the title has been censored.

It went from, "Cum on my lollipop Gramps," to "Cum on my Gramps." Yeah, with a title like that, it's sure to get lots of views...

ctoan, I pride myself on my command of the English language. As a new member, I was simply caught off-guard by this sites uncommon censoring of common and ordinarily harmless words. Now that I'm aware of that policy I'm confident I can work around it.

In the particular example I've cited, my complaint stems - not from their changing the word - but from their changing it without a thought to how that change affects the sentence as a whole.

'Femdom bitch "coerced" me to upload?' No way, ctoan. The average viewer isn't thumbing through a dictionary or thesaurus while they're surfing porn. Even I don't do that!

to someyahoo : I'm anal but not that anal (I hope). Now that I'm aware of the potential for unwanted censoring in my upload descriptions I'll be more careful in my choice of words. Thanks again!

My posts have been word swapped as well so i'm doing it first, so if you see any 'not' and 'step' in my video titles just remove them. Not much can be done about it. If you want to be anal you can try out the title in a blog post first and see if it get censored or swapped out since those post more or less immediately then just delete the post. It's not the best work around but it can save awkwardly titled posts.

to someyahoo : When I see these words in posts they're automatically censored with asterisks. What surprised me about the video description censoring was that, rather than asterisks, the offending word was replaced altogether by a different word that was close enough in meaning, but ruptured the sentence's grammar.
