How do you feel about fake profiles?

I'm asking about those fake profiles that are supposed to be a female pornstar, but they are obviously not. I could provide an example, but I'm in a good mood today so I won't point any fingers.

So, how do you feel about them?

Are they good or bad?

I mean they can be good if they are offering the content of the said person they are trying to impersonate, but on the other hand this could mess up that persons image. Also doesn't that just seem creepy to impersonate someone else online?

Why not create a page and simply upload a fan gallery of your favorite photos of the star?
Why try to impersonate someone else?
I dunno, some people are crazy to even try to fathom their reasoning.

Fake profiles? Hmmm Total waste of time for me; plus, I hate the deceit and assume they don't respect us enough to be truthful & honest. Once I know a profile is fake, I tell everyone concerned, tell the profile owner off & ban the scum.
And if they're NOT the porn star, they can simply add Fanpage to the account name when creating it, no?

i fucking hate fake profiles. at least 50 % of all women in hamsterland are fakes.
