My First Femboi Crush
After nearly twenty years of lusting after fembois I finally took the plunge. My obsession goes back to 1993. I was newly married and on my way out of the country to live with my wife who was going to be stationed in Belgium.
Before we left the States, there were ads for a movie called The Crying Game. I never got around to seeing the movie. I am more of an action movie type anyway. During the trailer I caught a glance of Jaye Davidson who plays the female lead, Dil. That’s a hot looking chick I thought as it ended. The English accent only made her more attractive.
This is the early Nineties, so there is no internet. I didn’t know about the big secret of The Crying Game. In Europe back then we got the movies at the post theatre about six months after they played in the States. Because the movie wasn’t a box office blockbuster it never appeared on post.
Through positive word of mouth I decided to pick up the VHS copy at the PX. When we were dating my wife pretended to like all the films I liked to sucker me into marrying her. Hell, I could have liked snuff films and she would have gone along with it just to butter me up. She wasn’t interested in the film.
Late Saturday I decided to watch it while she and my step-daughters were asleep. I didn’t know what to make of it. It started serious with the IRA and the k**napped British soldier, then it became kind of a comedy and then a romance before going back to action.
The real revelation was Jaye Davidson. The big reveal with Dil and Jimmy in the apartment. Where she reveals herself in full frontal nudity as not a woman, but a beautiful transvestite. I had an Army buddy, Mike Cannon was his name and he told me that when he saw the movie and the big reveal came he turned it off. I was shocked. I was also aroused.
A couple of scenes still stick with me. When Dill visits Jimmy at the construction site wearing jean shorts and shades, Jimmy’s co-workers respond with wolf whistles. I defy anyone to say that Jaye Davidson doesn’t look hot in that scene.
The other is when Jimmy cuts Dils hair and she refuses at first, then lets him and she’s wearing some a large tennis sweater and long pants. She still looks hot. She wants Jimmy to fuck her, but he refuses not because he doesn’t want to, but because they are being hunted.
That movie haunted me for a year.
The following year, Jaye Davidson was in Stargate. I took my teenage daughter, Keira to see it. During the movie she told me, “Daddy, I’m so in love with that hot guy.” I took it in stride. A teenage girl falls in and out of love several times a week, sometimes daily. I didn’t tell her that I was attracted to the same guy in a previous movie.
This was the beginning of my fascination with androgynous men, which later led to transsexuals.
