Miley Cyrus has been in the news lately mostly because of her performance at the MTV video music awards. I never paid much attention to her until that performance. I knew about her but I really didn't care very much. I have been anticipating this since she was 15 and Paris, Nicole, Lindsey, and Brittany were getting all the attention. I will be labeled a hater so I will be brief. I could care less about her or any other celebrity really. I enjoy a good song and a great film but for the art of it and I do like the celebrity culture we have fallen into--it is destructive. I would treat Miley like any other young woman if I ran into her somewhere (not likely of course).
