First meeting

It is probably the same for everyone we exchanged messages for some time each one a little more intimate then the talk of meeting then finally we agreed to meet A safe public place midway between our respective towns We had chosen a service area with a coffee shop I was early Im always early I sat in the car feeling more nervous than I should be for a simple cup of coffee Nothing for it I got out and walked towards the coffee shop then hesitated not sure of wether to go in or stand outside A voice behind me Are you Phil ? I turned and found myeslf looking into the most beautiful grey blue eyes Hi Im Zoe I saw you walk across and took a chance on it being you Shall we go in ? She moved towards the door leaving me totally overwhelmed . I lnew what she looked like from a brief cam chat but in person she was different For a start she was nearly my height I could look straight into her eyes I had a fleeting impression of a full figure but it suited her height her dress style was quite casual but everything about her told of of smart confident woman and one I wanted to know more about
I suddenly realised she had left me behind I hurried to catch up ,she was at the counter ordering and before I could compose myself had ordered paid and was walking towards a quiet table .We sat opposite and exchanged the sort of casual trivial chat common to any situation On an impulse I reached and took her hand I dont think I let go for the next hour Suddenly she looked at her watch and said she had to go 'We walked to the carpark and stood a moment by her car I leant forward and kissed her .That moment I knew we would meet again and what ever happened it would be special
