Begging for comments & tributes

hi all
i was just scrolling thru random pictures, and i'm wondering why there are so many people on here begging for comments or tributes.

my feeling is that you should be proud to just show your picture without begging someone to comment. if a person likes someone's picture, then it is up to them to comment or make a tribute.

im not looking for comments or tributes, i am just curious as to why people have to beg for them?
