A Riddle

I'm wearing a stunning gown
Of orange, gold and red
I am a feast for the eyes
I'm gorgeous

I slowly strip before you
The wind's my serenade
Piece by piece falling down
I'm naked

I am helpless, I'm fragile
Unveiled, undisguised
Exposed, defoliated
I'm a tree

The layers we must wear to conform to society's rules hide the beautiful secrets underneath.  Wonderful poem, Yolanda ❤️

I miss deciduous trees and the topography they cover living in Florida....but I do have the beauty of the ocean and its mighty waves and the salt air and sea breeze
