Privating all demonetized videos

"Earning for this video disabled since 22.05.2024. Reason: Video duration is less than 5 min"

Unfortunately XHamster decided to change the policy for monetization again.
When the ad revenue program started, the requirement was 2.5 minutes. This was eventually changed to 5 minutes but if you uploaded a eligible video in that time, it would still be monetized even after the policy change.
This was until now, when they decided to instantly demonetize all videos that are currently under 5 minutes, regardless of what the policy was when you uploaded it.

Basically, XHamster is pulling a bait-and-switch and are now stealing from their creators. I fucking hate Xhamster! Fuck this shitty scam website!

Thank you for supporting me on here. Please follow my PHub, where they treat their creators with respect and actually pay them.

Good on you! This website really has taken a turn for the worse. In addition to shafting creators (and not in the fun way), the vast majority of videos being loaded are now teasers for the Faphouse version. I miss Xhamster circa 2016.

to heymickey30 : Hey, thank you. I'm in the same position as you, I only stayed here for so long because it used to be so great and I loved the community too. I also spent years building my profile and I never wanted to leave but XHamster keeps making terrible decisions and hurting their creators for their own selfish reasons. I also produce porn because I enjoy it but XHamster is no longer a good place to express anything, they are too restrictive. Just forcing identity verification is enough to destroy any amateur porn community. PH did it too, and they aren't at all completely innocent, but they're better than XHamster.

to adderall999 : Thought that was the case re xham earning ad revenue. My worry about leaving xham is that I've spent years building my profile (and enjoyed doing it too) and can't just turn my back on all the people that have enjoyed what I do all this time. Money was never my primary driver, I enjoy the whole making, sharing aspect and the community too. I'll look into PH. I did have a profile there many years ago but might be inactive now. Anyhow, thanks for replying and for your advice x You are one of my all time fave producers, love what you do xxx

to heymickey30 : Yes, they still put ads on your videos but they don't give you the revenue for it anymore. My recommendation is to completely leave Xhamster and Faphouse and go somewhere else. PH pays so much more in comparison.

Yeh it sucks. Same thing happened to me with a whole bunch of older vids. Duration or size to small. Might follow your lead and make them owner only. I assume XHam still make money per view right? I'm currently remastering a load of older vids so they meet the new criteria but uploading to my Fap profile where view share revenue is a little more generous.

Damn that's extremely unfortunate and sneaky bs to pull on content creators. Wish I could follow you to phub. I am in one of the states that banned it. Best of luck though, good looking! I will always be a huge fan.
