A bit of a disaster for a sharing site!
Like many others here, I was shocked to see most of my favorite photos disappear. I am sad as I often took the trouble to go through maintaining them, so like minded folks could browse and enjoy that area without deleted or blocked images. Anyway, I wrote to Xhamster to find out what is going on and for your information, here was their reply:

According to the latest regulations in the industry our users are allowed to publish only the content supported by the full set of documents which includes: IDs of all performers, models releases with consent for shooting, distribution, download and 2257 form.
At the moment all the pictures without documents were removed from the public view and set to ‘Only to Owner’ status therefore you can no longer view your Favorite galleries. Now all users have time to become verified creators, provide all the documents and restore the content back to public view.
We are constantly working on making xHamster a safe and pleasant experience by protecting the rights of content owners and preventing the distribution of potentially prohibited content.

I am so sad about this... At present the favorite video area is still intact, I just hope they do not block those too, otherwise what is the point of sharing such things, as it seems most images on Xhamster do not fill the new requirements. I will leave everything intact, in the hope that folks change fill out all of Xhamster's requirements, I'm also wondering my own pictures I posted, if they need more information for other to see them...?
Seems like it is a lot of extra effort and I'm sure many people will not be able to comply over every picture posted...but I also see that a lot in my favorites area has now under the banner of 'waiting for moderation', so I live in hope things will be restored.
I hope this message clarifies things for those that got confused or worried.
