SO WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH HAVING TO BE "VERIFIED" HERE NOW?

This ALL started at PorrnHub in 2020 over valid claims of revvenge, abuuse, and underrrage porn videos (all good reasons to be reported and taken down). But that led to the major credit card companies refusing to process payments there. And here we are.

So was it all too good to be true?
A site where we could upload and share our videos -- not to make money, but just for fun.

But now, just like PorrnHub and other sites, we need to be "verified" to upload videos.

XHamster now wants ALL our personal info, a front and back photo ID, and "release forms and photo IDs" from any 2nd person appearing in our videos. LOLZ! Go ask the guys who suck cock at a gloryhole how easy THAT will be.

I understand they have to cover their asses with the signed agreements that "all performers are age 18+" etc., but asking for photo IDs of people whose faces are not seen and are totally anonymous in a video (like mine are, or gloryhole videos) is beyond fucking absurd!

Meanwhile, there's still 1000's and 1000's of older videos here (oftentimes STOLEN and re-uploaded) that never had any kind of verification. And tons of them remain here, some with millions of views.

What XHamster really should do is tailor the verification needed to the type of video being submitted. If any face or identity is shown in a video -- even very briefly -- then that requires all they ask for.

But then again, this is probably just about greed and money.

Me, I do not want to charge anyone to watch my videos -- and with over 2 million views of my videos since the XTube days, I could have made some serious money. Seriously, though: fuck that.

And sadly, I fear this "verification only" BS will be happening EVERYWHERE soon.
