Brave or stupid?

At 2010 Mauritius boat trip where I participated, happened an extraordinary occasion when teen (I don't know her age, she could be 18+, or maybe 16-17 - probably legal?) stripped because she had forgot her bikinis to the hotel. Here is a gallery of this occasion, I couldn't take much pic because my female friend said that taking photos of the "poor girl" (she meant unhappy because of her forgetting) is not decent. Now I get to the heart of the matter: was there any other options for girl? Of course was. 1) Give up a snorkeling and swimming opportunity and just participate on trip without any activities. 2) To swim and snorkel in her underwear. Of course both opportunities have been worse than stripping because 1) Trip would have been boring without interesting activities; 2) Underwear would have been wet and she should later dress wet clothes or dress without underwear.
Full strip needed acceptance of all trip participants (maybe there was a 12-15 persons) and permission was given. And what is important, also permission of her parents. Now it all depended on courage of the girl: how she feel nude in front of strangers, does she have some shame or discomfort? Other question is that maybe she looked stupid in eyes of strangers that she stripped, but my female friend (seen in third pic going into water, right from nude girl) said for example: "She had no choice and now is our responsibility not a pay attention to her." My friend didn't condemn girl at all, but was worried about "horny" men.
What I noticed? Behavior of the girl was after stripping completely free, there was no any signs of disgrace or discomfort. It even looked like she was "happy" that forgot her bikinis. I asked her brother later, but brother resolutely denied that her sister is a nudist. "Sometimes shit happens," he said about forced nudity. "But generally it is OK:"
When girl stripped at the island she didn't dress almost four hours. She dressed only 5 minutes before boat arrived to the harbor (photo 2). She make us feel that her nudity is not a problem and other people also have to feel free about this case. By the time she went more open. At return trip where were two snorkeling stops 2 x 30 min, she even sit in some occasions legs spread. Parents didn't say anything about these poses. I finally think it was intentional that she forgot swimsuit. Is it really possible? But she didn't look stupid because people accepted all what she did. What they said later about her was not known. When I tried to bring this sitting pose matter to my female friend she became angry. She accused me that I looked and again defended girl who sit in "normal position" by definition of my female friend. And later she added: "I felt sympathy of the girl. She had to stay nude many hours in front of horny men. But she did a good job!"
