August 25 / Asakusa Samba Carnival (tomorrow)

This is the largest Samba Carnival outside Brazil.

Asakusa Samba Carnival is the Annual Festival that Tokyo Hosts Every August.

And tomorrow will be its 36th anniversary

The Carnival has been a big event in downtown Tokyo, Asakusa area.

Ambient temperature often goes up to 35 deg c.

Attracting half a million visitors each year.

Brazil and Asakusa might not seem like an obvious match,

But with about 300,000-strong Japanese community in Sao Paulo - the largest outside of Japan -

One doesn’t have to reach too far back into history to see the ties between these two countries.

Rainha de Bateria (Queen of the Drums) - easily identifiable from her by the colorful peacock-like sash-leads the parade down Umamichi-dori and Kaminarimon-dori to the east and south of Asakusa Senso-ji Temple.

Asakusa Samba Carnival is actually a contest between about 20 competing teams.

The dance carnival starts from 1pm and lasts for 5 hours tomorrow August 26, 2017 at the Asakusa street.

WOW, Samba and Japanese girls dancing. A lot hotter and sexier show. Japanese girls are far more beautiful then any Brazilian girls
