In this chapter, Iris sets Ashley up for a date with her own friend, Doug, a simple-minded guy who, as it turns out, only cares about football and scoring chicks. Fortunately, that's just about all Ashley needs at the moment, as she profits from her open relationship by taking Doug home and letting him fuck her brains out, feeling no remorse whatsoever. Later, she witnesses Natasha, her manager at the bookstore, have anal sex with her boyfriend during work hours; purchases (and puts to good use) her first vibrator; goes out for cream with Eva, managing to keep her as her friend; and has another unpleasant run-in with the thugs that had earlier ruined her farewell party with Eric.
