Brave journey
Ok, this won't be brave for many, but it was for me....
i had had to go into work very early this weekend - I had to be there by 04:30, about an hour's drive away. So knowing my family would be asleep in bed, I hid some of my girl clothes downstairs the night before, then when I got up, changed into them, making sure I took ALL my required boy clothes with me. Although the street was deserted, I could feel the heart pounding in my chest when I left the house and walked to my car. At any time one of my neighbours, or even one of my family could look out of their window and see me. But nobody did.
i drove to work, the full hour, in my girl clothes, occasionally flashing my stocking tops to foreign lorry drivers, before finding a very quiet road near work and getting changed into my boy clothes.
it was a scary, but liberating experience. I took a couple of photos as I was driving:
