On being blocked

Yes I have been blocked on here by some. I just do not know if it is the same as being slapped. Typically you send a message and are just blocked. Sometimes there is a discussion going very well it seems, and blocked. Or not going well...blocked. Or you typed that you realize one should clarify, apologize for, and blocked. Often you are blocked. Maybe the art of conversation is dead, or folks want control, or do not want the real world. As the movie "Player One" makes clear this on line is just a tool, a broadening of the real world, and should enhance and not diminish the real world, At some point one must be in the real world to meet basic needs, to have sex, play with others or even make love.
Guess I will get blocked (slapped?) plenty more.

Or maybe you message a girl, come at her with closed minded stereotypes, insulting her culture... She points out you're out of line, so you continue... Yeah that warrants a block, absolutely uncalled for

To Kokobi99 there are also a lot of catfishing on here. I think some misrepresentation is normal. Hide a few pounds. Ect. The on line world of course allows for total fabrication. Certainly there are those who come onto the site not to meet, but then get hundreds of friends. They are being disingenuous. Though if you are a woman (or not) is a flattering avatar or a couple of pics, and just a hello and one can have hundreds or thousands of friends. Nice if you never intend to meet anyone. That is the goal of many on here rather than actually meet. Possible be stood up, possible laugh and have your drink go through your nose, and then see how the person you are with reacts. Of course they may laugh that just means they are human, it's how they laugh that is really important. These people using hamster as a total fortress are really missing out on opportunities in the real world. Ultimately tools such as Hamster is supposed to improve our lives and give us opportunities, the majority using it as such enhances the possibilities. If the majority just want to masturbate, well they can do that honestly. Though they need not have a profile to do that. Satisfying oneself is fine, even satisfying, but doing it with someone else is ever much more fun after all that other person can actually scratch that spot on your back you cannot get too.

To kokobi99 there is phising and there is asking for information. I would not give out any financial personal information on here. I would also block someone asking for a credit card number, but I would also send a message stating why I'm blocking them and to tell them to desist contacting me. Unfortunately with a real phisher this only helps a little as they will come back under a new profile. Someone trying to find out where you are in the state just makes sense or to verify you are where you say. It's the internet and you could be anywhere in the world. As far as phone numbers if you meet someone at a bar the goal is usually to get a phone number unless you can get an invite for a drink.
