My life update

I am officially retired. The new political group here has decided to eliminate my job as youth counselor, so I am now unemployed. I knew it was coming and I wasn’t surprised but it is a change in my life. I received a very generous severance package - 6 months pay and at the end of 6 months, my pension starts, so I am in good shape financially.
I haven’t decided what I am going to do now. Either find another job to keep me busy or do some traveling. There are some people I would like to meet across the country and I may do that.

Counseling the young is more important these days than ever. I'm afraid there will be more of these eliminations to come in the immediate future simply because of an incompetent regime now in power.
