Need tips on X-ray photo editing

I have been doing some research on x-ray editing and have experimented on some candids I have in my collection. Has anybody tried this technique? If so, do you have any tips or tricks? I have learned that the clothing on the woman must be tight and the lighting just right to get good results. Sometimes you can x-ray what lies beneath the clothes and other times you get nothing.

Thanks! I have been currently using Adobe CS5, but looking into other software and or techniques.

I use Corel PaintShop Pro X5 and there's a setting under brightness/contrast called "fill light/clarity" and that has worked wonders for my personal private collection. That's all I know. I don't know Photoshop.
