Coming Out Right or Wrong ???

So at one point I Started to tell my closest friends about my sexual pref which was met with disaster. People who I've known my whole life turned on me. Most of them won't talk to me anymore It bothers me cause I thought they were my friends.

One women I was really close with said As long as I like men I'll never be Happy in Life sometimes I think this is true as it's created a big hole in my life. Maybe I'm at an age where I just need to keep it to myself suppose my age group just wasn't quite ready for it. I'm only 40 years old
