Kevel Backstory
(I know some lore is a bit bended. Example is that Lady Prestor is alive during BC, but deal with it! Everything else is pretty much the same)
(Also see bottom for a specific RP that I have in mind at the moment)
"Report in Shaw." A man with brown shoulder length hair along with a slightly bushier beard was sitting at a table in decoarted, ornamented silver armor with a blue tabard on which was tailored with the Alliance lion with yellow cloth.
"The mission was...succussful Gener-" Before the young man ended his sentence the knight sitting looked up at him and caused him to freeze up. He stared into the face of a man younger then him. On top of the young mans head sat short brighter brown hair with a goatee. "HIGHLORD Bolvar sir. I apologize."
"Haha it's quite alright, I never asked for this promotion in the first place. It was bestowed on me by the lovely Prestor. Although a promotion is a promotion and I am happy to have more responsibilty in taking care of the people I care for. Which reminds me..." He tosses a stack of paper towards Shaw, on the top in big black ink it says [SI:7 Leadership Propasal]
"What is this sir?"
"The SI:7 has been leaderless for monthes now and the higher ups are getting on my ass and it's become a pain...IN MY ASS. It's time for a leader. I chose you."
"Thank...thank you Lord Bolvar! I will not let you down!!" He quickly saluted Bolvar, but then dropped his hand in realization "What about my team sir? We have been together for a long time doing missions, they will need a leader"
"The entire SI:7 hierarchy is being changed with you as their Master and I assume Renzik will be your Second-in-Command?"
"Yes sir."
"Alright." He pulls the papers back to him and starts writing names down the page. "All of your current squad mates will be promoted to various ranks along with each one becoming a new Squad Leader."
"All of them...?"
"Yes...all of them." He sighs and sits back in the chair. "It's about Kevel isn't it...?"
"Yes! He's reckless, young and incredibly unrealiable!"
"Unreliable? Every time I read your report he has gone above and beyond the wantings of the mission."
"Yes that may be true, but his actions go beyond my commands! Just a half a week ago I told him to get closer so he can hear the Dragonmaw's plans and he literally went behind them!"
"He's young and he will learn. My word is final Shaw; every single member of your squad."
It was at this point the young 13 year old Kevel was promoted to a squad leader. 4 years of being forced to go through easy missions such as: watching over The Dark Portal for demons that lingered through or tried to go in, settle small "debates" between the alliance and horde who stand in front of the large massive gate, tag alongs for raiding missions with small military squads and as body guards have finally drove him insane.
He charged into Shaw's office and demanded for harder missions, "Actual SI:7 missions." The now 17 year old SI:7 squad leader has ran every mission succusfully, granted they were easy missions chosen purposely by Master Shaw, but all of them ran smoothly. Shaw reluctantly agreed since there were missions that needed attention and the entire SI:7 was already spread apart across Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Outlands (doing clean up) and the majority in Northrend. Kevel and his squad was sent out to Icecrown to help the seige against Icecrown Citidal.
Shaw nor Kevel himself expected what happened within the next two years. Kevel and his squad were extremly succussful; assassinations went perfectly, his squad acquired more then asked for intel and countless of people were saved. Kevel and his squad were becoming incredibly reputable and powerful. Kevel finally got to show off his stuff. Quickly Kevel built up his reputation and the favorability of the people who knew of his team and Shaw gave them more and more dangerous and important missions.
(This paragraph is kind of important, I use what is about to be read in 18+ sometimes)
When the Cataclysm came, Kevel was no longer a reckless youth, he was a reckless leader of a squad that he has created and has come to form a brotherhood with. He called his squad The Cloaks because he remembered a story once about an invisibility cloak (HA HARRY POTTER REFRENCE. lol) which Kevel held a magic which did the same exact effect and even more. Kevel was actually one of the original users of magic called "Shade" Magic, it was nothing like Dark, Demonic or Shadow Magic as the name gives off. Shade magic gave the user literal control over space, physics, air, shadows and visible light, he could use it offensively throwing deadly darts of wind or use bolas formed of shadows or even defensively controlling the light and space in an area to create a sort of reflective area which renders a controlled area invisible or even an invisible form of matter. He personally trained each of his squad members his techniques and by the time were about to go to the front line, they were adept in the skill of Shade Magic, however Kevel even to this days forces his squad mates to take an hour out of every 2 days to pratice. His squad was moved to the front lines as assassins, reconnaissance units and sometimes even very clever and powerful duelists in the front lines using stealth and evasion to confuse enemies and killing them with one simple swipe of their blade.
Now the end of the Pandaria campaign has ended and the corrupted Garrosh has left and Vol'jin taking his honorable place as leader of the horde, Kevel and his squad can rest a bit.
(I have a possible long term RP/ERP that I would LOVE to try. It's based on the old WoW Machinima Craft of War: Blind (seen here http://tinyurl.com/kngf7wh). The story essentially would be during the Burning Crusade where a woman blood Elf rogue attempts to assassinate Lady Prestor aka Onyxia and Kevel just starting his career attempts to capture her, but fails ultimately managing only to capture a glimpse of her face. It's been many years before he has encountered her again and finally they meet up in full maturity.)
