I was a shy teen with little confidence due to thick glasses and acne throughout high school. I had asked out half of the girls in my grade but they all politely declines. Lol. There was one girl I had a crush on and she new it but she didn't like me at all. I'll never forget, I went to a high school of the arts (I was into theater acting my entire young life) and by chance we had been casted into a scene that ended with a kiss between the two of us.
This girl not only refused to kiss me, but when she was told it was part of the show and it wouldn't be changed she quit the class and demanded to be transfered to the other Drama class even if it ment she would FAIL.

i was close friends with one of the prettiest girls in the school. She was a Senior and I was a junior at this time, and when she heard about this she pulled me aside and I'll never forget what she said.

Anyway maybe this should have been in the first post but continuing from there it's now
Aug of 1996. I've graduated high school and I'm technically still a virgin. In my mind I'm gonna be one forever.
I've got my contacts and my acne had cleared up but still nothing. I went on a week vacation to NJ, Wildwood which is a shore town and this pretty girl liked me. But I sucked at kissing so bad after one attempt at
(Hooking up) as we called it she disappeared. I came home after a week away any as I walked into the park we all hung out at I had a moment that I can close my eyes and remember vividly to this very day 25 years later.
I turned the corner and saw all my friends that I hadn't seen for a week but I immediately was drawn to a person I'd never seen before.
She was leaning up against the wall talking to another girl who I knew. She was barely 5ft and had long blond hair. She was wearing a pull over jacket with her school name and pom poms on it.
(She was the head cheerleader! Lol) you couldn't miss her bright blue eyes, even tho it was dark,when she looked at me the first time I swear I never felt anything like that before or since. I can still see her standing there right now as I close my eyes and remember.
""Who is she?" I asked my best friend who was walking in with me.
""Oh that's Grace, it's B-Hall's little sister."
B-Hall was the oldest guy in our crew but it didn't matter cause where I come from , you don't date your friends little sister. Especially since she was only around because she had broken with with her BF and needed a new crew to hang with so he brother said
OK. HANG with us but don't date ANY of my friends!
Anyway. What did it matter. This girl was a 11 outta 10 and she would never even look at me.
Besides. I'd never have to balls to ask B-Hall if I could date his Lil sister or the confidence to ask her out if he said it was OK!
Turns out I didn't need either.
