To POV, or not to POV... That is the question.

I'm interested to hear from all sides on this one. I for one, am growing tired of all the POV content out there. I think it's a technique that is thoroughly overused, and lacking in creative and productive value; in other words... lazy. As someone who is old enough to have cut teeth on the classics from the golden era, I find myself often turned off when I see someone looking longingly up at a Go-Pro. It reeks of insincerity and a flagging budget.

There... I had to get that out.

I do understand that we all have our kinks and must chase our dragons in whichever ways suit us best, so to those whose love the POV content, I mean no disrespect. I simply would like to understand the demand on a clinical level.
