New York, NY – Pornhub.com, the premier online destination for adult entertainment, today announces the official judging panel for the company’s Song Search Contest, Pornhub’s two month-long crowdsourced hunt for musical content to find the adult site’s next official anthem. The judges for the competition include: Grammy Award winning rapper, T-Pain; Taylor Momsen, front woman for The Pretty Reckless; and Dan Ozzi, music editor for Noisey/VICE. The esteemed panel will select the winner in the month of January from a list of 10 finalists, which will be whittled down from over a thousand entries based on contestant down/upvotes, relevance to contest guidelines, and amount of views.

The call-to-entry for the contest, which commenced in late September, is slated to close on November 30th. At that time, Pornhub’s chosen list of top 10 finalists will be handed over to the aforementioned trio of musical vets, who will then select one lucky winner from the bunch. The judges will collectively rank the final submissions based on a comprehensive rubric that encompasses an assessment of each entrant’s lyrical content, as well as a variety of stylistic and aesthetic variables relative to the genre of music; among these are flow, lyricism, and song narrative structure.

“We’re ecstatic to be able to announce such a talented pool of industry vets to be a part of the judging process,” said Corey Price, Vice President, Pornhub. “To have such a respected collection of musical knowledge and experience come together for this deliberation is a huge set of assets in the final in what has thus far been a heated race that’ll ultimately culminate in the selection of the first official crowdsourced Pornhub Anthem.”

To become a finalist, fans 18 years of age or older must submit songs, which must be full-length and original compositions not exceeding 4 minutes and 30 seconds, on the campaign’s landing page no later than November 30th. The songs can be submitted in demo format and do not have to be fully realized or produced. The chosen winner will receive $5,000 towards the expenses of making a music video and have their video featured on Pornhub.com.

“This contest is a beautiful thing to see,” said T-Pain. “To have such an eclectic mix of genres, artists, and content come together for the purpose of getting recognized and creating art on a unified front is exciting. It reminds me of what it was like when I trying to make it and get recognized. You can feel the hunger coming from each contestant trying to earn their shot at fame; it’s a humbling experience, and I can’t wait to participate and help Pornhub find their next official anthem.”
